Our apartment is centrally located to discover the very best of the Costa de Alméria!

We have therefore made a scenario especially for our guests, in which we share the touristic highlights, fun activities and all our tips (such as nice restaurants, trendy bars & authentic markets, curiosities etc.). There is something for everyone!

Below you will find a short preview of what the immediate area has to offer.

Mojácar

It is an enchanting city of whitewashed old buildings, a labyrinth of winding cobbled streets and alleys and romantic courtyards. The old town, located on a hill, offers magnificent views on the Sierra Cabrera, the sea with crystal clear water and the desert of "Taberna".
Mojácar Pueblo officially belongs to one of the most beautiful, whitewashed villages of Spain!

Mojácar Playa, situated below the ancient village, provides a completely different atmosphere; a modern lively seaside resort which has been tastefully developed with the traditional feel in mind. There are 9 kilometres of sandy unspoilt beaches and has great facilities like a beautiful promenade, restaurants, traditional & trendy bars and shops.

Garrucha

Garrucha can best be compared to a traditional Spanish fishing village, but slightly larger.

It has a pleasant boulevard with a night market, a fishing and yacht port and many great fish restaurants.

It is the so called "Seafood Capital of the Costa de Almeria".

Garrucha is also known for its beautiful, golden sandy beaches that stretch as far as the eye can see.

The beach opposite the city centre is a blue flag beach, the only city beach in Europe to be awarded the prestigious blue flag.

Cabo de Gata

The UNESCO recognized natural park of volcanic origin borders in the west to the desert area of Tabernas, known for its natural scenery for spaghetti westerns, and in the east to Mojácar.

It consists of pristine beaches, beautiful bays, unique landscapes and characteristic (fishing) villages.

The most famous beaches are Playa de Los Muertos, Mónsul, Los Genoveses and Las Salinas.

After all, if you like cruising by car, the coastline of Cabo de Gata is one of the most beautiful road trips in Europe! Enjoy the many beautiful views and make sure to stop at the many idyllic places and villages such as San José, Rodalquilar, Las Negras, Agua Amarga, Los Escullos, Isleta del Moro etc.
